Sometimes, I myself can easily be swept away by the latest news or survey about food, wellness, or beauty. The amount of information at our fingertips today is utterly amazing, but buyer BEWARE!
Have you ever taken a closer look at how many people participated in the survey or study? Granted, it can be extremely difficult recruiting a large number of people to participate in these surveys and studies. However, there are so many out there today that anyone can easily get the information they need to back up their thoughts or ideas.
My recommendation is that everything in moderation is much wiser than jumping off the deep end to follow a fad diet or beauty trend. What works for one person may not work for another. For the most part, we are not all created the same. We have different looks, different personalities, different physical capabilities, different taste pallets...the list can go on. That is what makes the human race so amazing and diverse.
Just in the United States alone, there are over 322,000,000 people and billions more across the globe; so having a cookie cutter solution is not always applicable for everyone. Go ahead, try something new; test the waters - but if it doesn't work for you, move on. Don't waster your time and energy figuring out why it worked better for someone else. Try living this creed: if you fall, get up (and don't be afraid to ask for help), brush off your knees, and go again until you find the best path for you without taking anyone else down! Your strength in trying again and eventually succeeding will be seen, and you can empower people to do the same without even knowing it.
So take things in moderation, and help be the positive change you want to see in this world. Now that is a fashion trend I'd love to subscribe to!
